Ignite Youth Camp Overview

The Ignite Youth Camp 2026 is a summer gathering organized by the United Evangelical Church of Legazpi, a Filipino-Chinese church based in Legazpi City, Albay. With the theme “Tuned In,” drawn from Colossians 2:6–7, this camp is designed to encourage young people to intentionally align their hearts and lives with Jesus in the midst of a world filled with noise, distractions, and competing voices. Through biblical teaching, worship, and meaningful fellowship, the camp seeks to help the youth deepen their love for God, return to the foundations of the Gospel, and discover their identity in Christ. Ultimately, it emphasizes that being truly tuned in to Jesus results in a life that reflects and actively shares their faith.

About the Speaker

Ptr. Aaron Michael Nimo

Pastor Aaron—affectionately known as Pastor A—is originally from Baguio City. He grew up being involved in campus ministry under Campus Crusade for Christ in 2010 and has been serving full-time in ministry since 2014. He took up a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Saint Louis University from 2010 to 2014 and took up a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies at Singapore Bible College from 2017 to 2020. Since 2021, he has been serving as the Assistant Director for Adult Ministry at Davao Evangelical Church (DEC).With a heart for making disciples, Pastor A is actively involved in training pastors and church leaders through TNET (Training Network for Disciple-Making Ministries). His ministry extends to apprenticing church planters and pioneering new local congregations, reflecting his commitment to the Great Commission.He is married to Marygrace, a Bible teacher and basketball coach at Faith International Academy (FIA) in Davao, and they have been living happily in Davao. Outside of his ministerial duties, Pastor A is an avid trekker and someone who prefers mountains over seas. He loves pickleball and plays frequently. He also applies his creativity to photography, video-editing, and graphic designing.
